Arsenal 'on the verge of signing Ever Banega

Arsenal are on the verge of completing a £18million deal to sign Ever Banega, according to reports from Spain.
The Sevilla midfielder's agent is believed to be in London ready to thrash out a deal to reunite his client with his former boss Unai Emery.
The Gunners are keen to add experience to their ranks and are in the market for a new midfielder as they prepare for Aaron Ramsey's exit at the end of the season.
Emery knows Banega, 30, well from his time in Spain, and the midfielder would only set the Gunners back his £18million release clause.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Banega has recently brought in new representatives as he seeks a move to the Premier League, with his agent spending time in London over the festive period to finalise a deal with the Gunners.
Emery and Banega enjoyed a good player-coach relationship during spells at Valencia and Sevilla - where they won two Europa League titles in 2015 and 2016.
Banega is now in his second spell with Sevilla, having played for the likes of Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
The Arsenal boss sees the Argentine as the perfect candidate to fill the boots of Ramsey who could leave as soon as January.
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown shared his thoughts on Ramsey's impending exit - and the prospect of Arsenal signing a new midfielder - in his Daily Mail column.
Keown said: "I wasn't comfortable with the fact that Arsenal withdrew their contract offer but now that decision has been made, the club clearly want to bring someone else in next month.
